About City Hall - The Ballroom
The Ballroom is located in the lower ground halls of Sheffield City Hall.
It is richly and impressively decorated with gilt columns and painted ceiling. An illuminated glass panel in the centre of the floor is a most attractive addition.
The Ballroom at Sheffield City Hall features one of only two remaining sprung dance floors typical of the 1930’s era in the North of England.
