About Motorpoint Arena

Since opening our doors in 1991 we have raised the curtain on everyone from Oasis to Prince, Elton John to Tina Turner, Take That to Little Britain and Paul Mcartney to Girls Aloud! In fact around 900,000 people walk through our doors each year to sample some of the finest entertainment in the World! In addition we are home to the Sheffield Steelers Ice Hockey team. 

And we intend on staying one of the UK's top venues by bringing the best entertainers to you!

The building’s versatile auditorium can easily accommodate audiences from theatre-style shows of 3,500 up to centre stage productions hosting audiences of 13,500.
