About Plug

Plug Live is one of Sheffield's hotspots to see the best bands.

The venue's three year A-Z gig history is already a who's who of the modern music world.
From a history-making Arctic Monkeys gig, on the eve of their debut number one, to Zero 7, via Babyshambles, De La Soul, Mogwai, Go! Team, Jarvis Cocker, Patti Smith, Public Enemy and The Prodigy, a fantastic range of artists have played here.

Powered by a state-of-the-art EAW sound system and with a size of venue that retains an intimate feel - the music feels closer at Plug.

Keep an ear to the ground, too, for a host of fresh talent at Plug. The venue regularly hosts the cream of the local crop, emerging bands and acoustic sessions in the cosy Neutral room.

On weekend nights, live gigs are generally brought to a close by 11pm, when both rooms go into club mode. However, keep a close eye on eclectic Saturday night bash Shuffle where live performances interweave with DJ sets.
